Does Eon offer solar battery storage?
The offer is available to new solar customers only and applicants do not need to be an E.ON or E.ON Next energy customer to apply. As well as offering solar panels, E.ON offers solar battery storage to enable customers to store excess electricity generated during the day to use in the evenings or at a later date.
How will Eon supply its energy?
Eon said it plans to supply a large proportion of the power through its own 1.8GW renewable generation supplies, in addition to agreements with independent wind power producers. The remainder will be accounted for by purchases under the renewable energy guarantee of origin certificate system, run by regulator Ofgem.

How have Eon next customers saved energy?
Since November 2022 E.ON Next customers have taken part in five Demand Flexibility Service events from the National Grid so far. They’ve managed to save over 78MWh of electricity which is the equivalent of 184 years worth of powering a 50w TV. We’ve paid out around £350k to customers who saved energy and met their reduction targets.
