The Public Utilities Commission of Nevada (PUCN) recently approved NV Energy''s request to add two new solar plus storage projects, which will total 600 megawatts of energy and provide 480 megawatts of energy storage capacity – enough to power 127,000 homes.

Through the end of October, eligible NV Energy customers can apply for the company''s Expanded Solar Access Program, called ESAP. The program makes tapping into solar energy a possibility at no added cost, with no solar panels required.
